Iain Illingworth, B.L.E, (Aberdeen) M.R.I.C.S, M.I.S.K., R.V. (Managing Director.)

Iain Illingworth has a Degree in Land Economics, and has worked as a Chartered Surveyor for over 27 years, first with Strutt & Parker in Scotland, and thereafter with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), as their Scottish Land Agent. In 1995 Iain moved to Kenya, qualifying as a Member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya and as a Registered Valuer, and joining and eventually acquiring the firm of Ryden International, based in Nairobi. As Managing Director, he has been responsible for undertaking valuations in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, including farms, commercial and residential property. He has been involved in rent negotiations and general consultancy, and the firm has become one of Kenya's most respected Estate Agents.

Iain has a particular interest in wildlife conservation and eco-tourism, and in rural property matters in general. Ryden International has established a particular reputation as rural property consultants/estate agents in Kenya.


Rose Thogo, B.A.Land Econ., M.I.S.K, R.V. (Director)

Rose is a qualified Valuer and Estate Agent, with over 11 years professional experience working in the Kenyan property market. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management, and is currently completing an M.A. in Property Valuation and Management at Nairobi University. On top of an in-depth knowledge of the Nairobi property market, Rose leads Ryden's team in providing consultancy services to the telecommunications industry – mainly Base Station acquisition.

Johnson Denge, B.A.Land Econ.

Johnson has worked with Ryden International since 2007. He has lead responsibility for field work in site acquisition, and has a vast amount of experience in this specialised service. This extends to dealings with the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA), planning issues and Kenya Civil Aviation Authority approvals.
